Microsoft Access Database Development
Most of the work done by Adminware Corporation is customized database development.
Until the fall of 1999 this work was done in dBase III Plus using Clipper.
Since January of 2000, our preferred choice of database development has been with Microsoft Access.
To date, six large customized database projects have been converted to Access with four more nearing
completion and several others in the design phase.
Our projects fall primarily into two categories:
The Access projects that we have developed use the 'standard' features of Microsoft Access 2000/2002.
They do not use the MSDE or SQL Server features - we have not yet found a need with our existing
clients to use these. A program code is maintained in a 'front end' and all user-driven data is
kept in a 'back end', typically on a Windows NT server.
Visit the Microsoft Access home page.
